I've often wondered if the US spent those trillions of dollars on health, education, agriculture and public infrastructure development, what kind of world we might have...

There is a misconception it seems to me that Afghanistan is not run by warlords still. President Hamid Karzai is nothing more than a puppet of the US and holds no real sway in the countries politics. It seems his (and the Talibans) major consideration has been safeguarding Opium production. Which makes me wonder what the US is up to beyond keeping an eye on neighbouring Uzbekistan's pipelines.
In all seriousness, it sickens me how well the Industrial Militaristic machine that is the US has played their game of profiting from and endendering suffering, and how we the apathetic only give a toss when it backfires in our own backyard. We have swallowed the soma of greed hook line and sinker, and let our morality take a back seat.

Show us on the American Flag wearing doll where the US Industrial Militaristic machine touched you. :(
Did you come to this position before or after the D9 hit you in the head?
